Settling into our new house
Posted on Thursday, 15 May 2014
Firstly, let me apologise for not posting in a week! We've been super busy moving into our new house! We picked up the keys on Friday, went to Bristol on Saturday to pack up everything from our old house and on Sunday, loaded it all into a big truck and drove it all back down to our new house. This week we've been busy finding places for all our stuff and just generally putting the house together.
We don't have any broadband installed in our new house yet either so our posts won't be very regular until then. The man is coming to install it on the 30th of this month so we'll be back online then... That's if mum hasn't gone into labour by then! She's into the last month of pregnancy now and is sporting some pretty huge elephant feet.
Speaking of labour, Brian has just laid her fourth clutch of eggs in six months. Poor girl.
Anyway, I must tell you more about our new house! It's brilliant here! I even have my own garden! I've never had a garden before as we previously lived in a coach house. The best thing about having my own garden is that I finally have somewhere to enjoy chomping on my filled hooves without mum and dad complaining about how much they stink.
Mum and dad have been taking me for walks on the Tarka Trail every morning this week. We're very lucky to have the trail running behind our house. It's beautiful and incredibly tranquil.
Well welcome home guys! Hope you settle in well!
