Review: Meaty Sweeties by Pure

Posted on Tuesday 14 April 2015

Another review from Pure!
This time we've been given the opportunity to try out and review their brand new product; Meaty Sweeties!

Here we have the Chicken & Coconut flavour. They also come in Duck & Apple flavour. These treats are grain free, naturally dehydrated and are "made with nothing but fresh human grade ingredients with a consistency not too tough, but not too crumbly."

Just like their food, these 'Meaty Sweeties' contain "No rendered meats or derivatives, no wheat, corn or soya, colours, taste enhancers, sweeteners or any other nasty bits".

Our first impressions of the treats were very good indeed! We particularly liked the texture, the smell and the packaging.

Let's take a look at the ingredients:
Chicken (65%) Honey, Coconut (10%) Coconut Oil & Organic Molasses

We really like the fact that these treats contain Coconut Oil as we already use this alongside meal times. If you didn't already know, Coconut Oil has loads of benefits for dogs! (And humans too!)

And finally.... The all-important taste test...

...Deee-licious! That went down a TREAT! =P

Why not have a read of our previous Pure reviews?

This being the third review we have done for Pure Pet Food, we must say how delightful it has been exchanging emails with the company over the past months. Their customer service has been friendly and the products have always been sent out to us quickly.
Thanks again to the guys at Pure

Pure provided me with their Meaty Sweeties for review, but did not otherwise compensate me for this post. The views and opinions expressed in this post and on this blog are entirely my own.

  2. Mmmh, I love the fact that they contain coconut as well! I'm aware of the huge benefits, and recently had the pleasure to sample some organic coconut treats ;-)
I wonder if PURE only sells in the UK? Just checked out their website, and found it very user-friendly & fun to browse through. Reminds me of "The Honest Kitchen" (product-wise).
